1. What should I know about the changes being introduced in July?
Changes are being introduced to following processes:
a) Project renewals
b) Project end date changes
c) Project expansions
The existing processes for project renewals, end date changes and expansions are currently performed in ESA, and the new processes are getting linked to WinZone. Manual project end date changes including renewals will get disabled in ESA. The primary actors in these processes are the Project Managers, Engagement Partners and Client Service Executives (Account Manager / Client Partner if account is not live with C2020 roles).
2. Which user groups and downstream systems are getting impacted by these changes?
For the Commercial teams, Engagement Partners (EPs) and Client Service Executives (CSEs) / Account Managers (AMs) are directly impacted, while the Client Partners (CPs) are indirectly impacted, by these changes. For the Delivery teams, Project Managers (PMs) / Proxy PMs are directly impacted, while the Delivery Managers / Directors are indirectly impacted, by these changes. The downstream systems being impacted by these changes are ESA & CForecast.
3. Will these changes be applicable to all project types?
No, these changes are applicable only to client billable projects i.e. project type EXTN.
4. When can I expect to see these changes rolled out?
5. Will these changes be implemented for all BUs?
These changes will be effective from July 17th, 2017 only for the Insurance – NA Business Unit (BU). These changes will be rolled out to all other BUs in subsequent phases.
6. How will these changes be done in WinZone?
These changes will be initiated by WinZone users on a newly introduced WinZone functionality called Project Dashboard
